Lip Blush
Lip blush results aren't instant, and that's completely normal. In the first few days your lips will look bold, bright and more intense than your final result. By day 3-5 they'll start to flake and fade, which can feel alarming if you're not prepared for it. But this is exactly how it's supposed to work. As the skin heals over the following weeks, that soft, natural colour you've seen in the before and afters gradually reveals itself.
Understanding the healing journey is just as important as the treatment itself, which is why I walk every client through exactly what to expect before we begin.
Lips Before

Pale, lack of definition.
Pre-Draw

Lips are perfectly outlined along the borders to get the perfect shape for lip blush. This step is never rushed and until you are 100% satisfied with the shape, I will not proceed with the lip blush!
Straight After Treatment

Lips are swollen and bright, the colour will fade as it heals to a more natural tint. Lip blush does not change the size of your lips, but may temporarily be swollen for 24-48 hours after the treatment. Over the next week, the lips will begin to flake and peel, and the colour may look patchy or uneven. This is completely normal and part of the healing process - do not pick the flaking skin as this can pull pigment out unevenly.
Day 10

The colour starts to resurface and you'll begin to see your true result emerging. Lips will look softer, more natural and much closer to what you chose at your consultation.
Healed 8 Weeks

Every healed result is unique to the individual, influenced by your natural lip tone, skin type and aftercare. If you feel you'd like more colour or definition, your top up appointment can be booked from 8 weeks onwards. This is what it's all been building to... soft, natural colour that looks like your lips but better.
Lips After Top Up

Your top up appointment is where everything comes together. Any areas where the pigment didn't fully retain during the first session are perfected, the colour is deepened or adjusted if needed, and the shape is refined. Most clients find their lips look noticeably more defined and even after their top up compared to the first session.
After your top up the healing process is typically much quicker and milder than the first time - less swelling, lighter peeling and a faster reveal of your final colour.
